Affordable, educational, an all around Great family environment! Kids loved it and so did we. They really focused on fun for the whole family. We will definitely be back again!
We loved the feel of a farm, and not a zoo. The experiences/demonstrations were nice as well. Our girls loved holding the boa constrictor, playing with the baby goats and feeding the capybarra!
Every staff member was extremely professional, and welcoming. They love and care for every single animal that crosses their threshold! Absolutely will be going back!
This place is wonderful for adults AND children alike. The owners have made this highly interactive, hands-on and educational. We had a delightful day!
Had a great visit at Fort Rickeys Zoo.Went with my mom ,niece and nephew. The animals were really fun to feed and hold and the information on the animals were fun to learn .I do have one complaint, the girl at the snack area was really rude .We wanted some chicken tenders and she started to talk us out of them. I really don't think she wanted to make them .She said ,well there going to take like 20 min .She could have said I'm sorry it's going to be awhile would u like to wait .Then we wanted sluggish and they were just liquid, we were hot and needed some cold drink but we just got a cup of liquid grape .I didn't appreciate her attitude and when we come again we will not order food
Absolutly love this place, everyone is so professional, very well taken care of, they love and take extremely good care of each animal, very much kid friendly, also which i love, they had the REAL SLUSH PUPPIES :), we will be returning, Also our nonprofit is going to try and sponsor them,
We brought our 3 year old here on July 4th. We had a good time. It was a hot day so most of the animals were in their shaded areas and not very active. The deer and goats were so friendly and my daughter had a blast feeding them. We tried getting food and slushes at the concession but they ran out of a lot of food and the slushes were just liquid, no slush. We were disappointed because we were looking forward to a cold drink after walking around on a hot day. The park is a little run down and some animals look matted and need some TLC. The playground is huge and the littles love it!
Fort Rickey was so much fun!
Reasonable rates, and the amount of interaction they provide to their animals, makes it so much fun for the children. …
